What most people don’t think about, is the massive potential body of sleepers in the West today. We have brought the potential enemy into our home. How much will that cost us.
We have cut so many corners, have ignored so many sound policies, and have made so many poor decisions, you just have to wonder...
If this country doesn’t have the stomach to deal with a bunch of crazed nation-less terrorists, and as a result elects a weak anti-war socialist, what makes us think we will have the stomach to deal with a sovereign nation with nuclear bombs that has already kicked our butt once before because we didn’t have the guts to do what needed to be done?
We won’t have Obama to blame when S Korea falls... we will only have ourselves.
Elections do have consequences... and in this case it will be the blood of American Soldiers in S. Korea, and at the very least the sovereignty and freedom of S. Korea.
Russia is playing both sides of the whole matter.

What he’s striving for is a ship incident in which Americans are detained —his aim is to hang on Obama a Tehran Embassy-type incident, a-la Jimmy Carter.
The “war criminals” will be paraded on TV a bit, maybe a show trial of some sort. The objective will be to put the USA on the defensive, to make them ASK the DPRK for leniency, to permit for a better atmosphere in which to receive aid, continue WMD ambitions, and to export those WMD’s without blue-water naval intercept.
Kim wants:
1. Money
2. Freedom to do bad stuff
3. Prestige

If we attempted to gather a ‘coalition’ on this issue, we may get Japan and S.Korea, but that’s about it.
