""From: "Lauren Wolfe, CDAAA" Friends,
"The Democratic Party platform is contrary to the mission of [the] university and to Christian doctrine."
Can you imagine if your university said that to you when you were a College Democrat? If they used those hateful words to banish you from campus?
Well, on Friday, Liberty University -- the largest Christian Evangelical university in the world -- said exactly that as they kicked out the school's College Democrats chapter. Now, it's time to fight back.
Tell Liberty University to allow the College Democrats back on campus.
According to Mark Hine, a university vice president, the College Democrats were banned because the Democratic Party advocates for "the 'LGBT' agenda" and "socialism." And the school's president, Jerry Falwell Jr., said, "I just hope [the students] find a pro-life family organization to affiliate with so they can be endorsed by Liberty again." As College Democrats, we can't take this kind of hateful rhetoric lying down.
Don't wait. Fight back now. Tell Liberty University to reverse its ruling.
This fight is bigger than any one of us, and we're not going to reverse this ruling alone. But together, the strength of our voices can change the policies of Liberty University.
So forward this e-mail to your friends. Link to the petition on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. It's time to show Mark Hine and Jerry Falwell Jr. that the College Democrats deserve their place at Liberty University once again.
Democratically yours,
Lauren Wolfe Former President, College Democrats of America Board of Directors, CDAAA""

""Liberty University Bans College Democrats - Fight Back! Liberty Universitythe largest and fastest-growing Christian Evangelical university in the worldhas closed its doors to its campus College Democrats chapter. The Virginia school told chapter leaders plainly: "The Democratic Party platform is contrary to the mission of Liberty University and to Christian doctrine."
The university is telling chapter leaders that they can't use the university's name, hold meetings on campus, or advertise eventsif they try, they'll earn a reprimand that could lead to expulsion. Apparently it's not okay to be a Democrat, a Christian, and a Liberty University student all at the same time.
Well, we simply won't stand for it. Fill out the fields below to tell Liberty University's Vice President for Student Affairs to reverse his ruling and allow the Liberty Dems back on campus.""
Congratulations to Liberty University!
Why would a marx-o-crat go to Liberty University anyway?
Good for Liberty University for standing for their charter. If you don't like it Lauren, then find another college, there are dozens out there who will oblige you!
Where do they get off telling a private university how it can allow its name to be used? And for the record, in the opinion of many evangelicals and almost all fundamentalists, it’s NOT compatible to belong to the party of baby murder, deviant sex, and government uber alles, and also claim to subscribe to the fundamentals of Christianity.
To take over and ‘change’ them to fit their agenda.
To undermine it’s mission.
Typical brainwashed liberal response.
It's always about "hate."
Unless, of course, the group being banished is conservative (ex: Youth for Western Civilization at Vanderbilt).
True. Can’t allow dissent in the brave new world
Guilty.
The nice thing about this situation is that Liberty is a private school, not funded by taxpayer money, so the whining libs have no leverage on them to change. Liberty can tell them to shove it and won’t suffer at all by doing so.
I'm surprised Lauren Wolfe is an adult and doesn't realize this.
Lauren Wolfe , a third-year student at University of Detroit Mercy School of Law
Just as apparently it's not okay to be a Republican, a Christian, and a {insert university here} student all at the same time.
I think she should simply be asked to urinate in a cup, and then expel her.

Okay, what am I missing here?
Because they’ve already successfully taken over government media and academia by infiltration, now they’re working on the last bastion, the churches. Remember how last year the rise of the “Christian left” was so touted? I can’t wait to see how they try to co-opt fundamentalism. They can’t, so they’ll simply use their other tactic, when infiltration won’t work, of demonisation and marginalisation. They couldn’t marginalise the whole Christian Right because the media made it out to be such a powerhouse in politics in the past (trying to scare people that “the fundies are coming, the fundies are coming”. When that didn’t work, they turned to their other tactics of infiltration and dilution.
I will always admire Lester Roloff for realising the same thing.
