Tax it, set insane goals, legislate against it, regulate it. That’s the government way. If they don’t like it, they will make sure you see things their way. Tyrrany at the doorstep.

Any decent person in public office would use a verb like “entice” or “tempt” or “persuade”, not COERCE!
The Demonazis must feel they have already closed the trap on us and there’s nothing we can do.

Strange, since the census is not until next year.
I had someone call and come by from the Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS), supposedly doing a survey. The strangest part was that I have never received anything from HHS, unless you count heartburn over their liberal policies. They claimed that my house had been picked at random and if I didn't cooperate their survey would be messed up. I guess they are putting together a new survey, since I literally didn't have the time - and wouldn't have cooperated even if I did.

I don't have a problem with the transportation Secretary using
persuasion to attempt to
talk me out of using my car.
When he says he will use coersion, he better be ready for a fight.

Agreed,
persuasion is a nice political way of saying coercion.
