LAKEWOOD, Wash. - State Troopers arrested two people early Monday for throwing rocks off a railroad trestle onto cars driving south on Interstate 5. Troopers say they were apparently playing a game that involved stripping.
A State Patrol pilot in the air looking for speeders and drunk drivers spotted two people with a heat-detecting camera on an overpass in Lakewood. They appeared to be dropping rocks on cars passing beneath them.
When state troopers arrested the 23-year-old Tacoma man and an 18-year-old Lakewood woman, they found the woman partially nude. They face felony charges for malicious mischief and second-degree assault for hitting as many as 14 vehicles with rocks.
Video One man injured A Fort Lewis soldier who was riding in the passenger seat of a taxi suffered minor injuries when a rock crashed through the windshield.
Driver Gwendolyn Harris said it sounded like a gunshot, but it was a rock "about the size of a baseball."
The rock hit the Army private in his left arm. He declined to be interviewed, but he showed the big bruise the rock created.
"This is so dangerous," said Trooper Scott Sborov. "Any one of these rocks could have punctured a windshield, hit the driver in the face and killed them. It's happened many times."
The two suspects are scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
Will they be clothed?
Throwing rocks off an overpass, in order to get the girl to strip. The guy was probably “thinking”: “if I throw these rocks off; maybe I’ll get my rocks off later”.
Those two need to be stoned to death.

How stupid, ignorant or drunk do you have to be to not understand that such actions could kill somebody?
It seems the creeps who do this usually get away and I am glad this time these guy and gal got caught....is there anyway they could be thrown off the same bridge?

What two people do in the privacy of there overpass is nobody’s business. Oh sorry, wrong debate.
A pair of kids feeling neither moral qualms nor ethical reservations about playing a self-indulgent sex game with the potential to result in the murder of strangers; IMO, this says a great deal about the current state of the nation and why we are where we are.
These two have been through our nation’s educational machinery, and are legally qualified to vote.
I’d settle for tying them to a post in the town square and publicly flogging them.
This is the sort a deed that should leave scars on the criminal.

They litterally endangered hundreds of people with death. Throwing a rock size of a baseball into traffic moving at 70 miles an hour is attempted murder. Literally.

The video indicates that one of the two was much hotter than the other.
Pharmacologically speaking, I do not think one can get “stoned to death”. The overwhelming majority of people will pass out way before the THC level in their blood-stream even approaches a toxic level. Although, I will say, their behavior seems to indicate a very high level of intoxication via SOME substance.

I’m more alarmed by the airborne state troopers with night vision gear on highway revenue duty. Big brother is watching.
