The Hon. Jeff Sessions is the man. An incredible and great Senator. I say that as an admirer from NYC.

Let me say folks, that you have idea how bad this pick is and this woman has shown the lack of judicial temperment you want in a SC pick. On top of that she fits the profile perfectly of Obama who would love to bring the big government, ultra liberal inner city view to the Court.

Food stamps, housing, racial discrimination, government paid abortions, this woman will be advancing all of this stuff as rights IMHO.

Not sure how she will do though in the hearings. No doubt the media will advance and protect her every step of the way. Diversity and all you know.

Sen Hatch was chariman of the Judicary Committee when she got elevated to the Appeals Court........

Snip: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonia_Sotomayor

Many Republicans, including then-Judiciary Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch and six other Republicans who are still in the Senate today, voted for Sotomayor’s confirmation to the Second Circuit.[19] With solid Democratic support, and support from about half of Republicans, Sotomayor was confirmed on October 2, 1998, in a 67-29 vote[23], and she received her commission on October 7.
