Here’s an idea, a Senator asks her during confirmation hearing where she stands on the Heller case, whether it is now settled law. When she starts talking about gun grabbing, the NRA can make this a vote going towards your NRA grade. That would wake up some of these Senators...

She could be the sacrificial lamb that gets rejected and then he sends up his real (and just as liberal) nominee. Don’t discount this. I actually thought of that option as well. The timing of this doesn't make sense.

the Dems are so devious, this could in fact be the case. Ben Nelson could even be part of the strategy. Why else would he so publicly challenge the activism of the pick right before it was announced.
