During the U.S. Presidential primaries last year, I had expressed my misgivings that Barack Obama might turn out to be another Jimmy Carter, whose confused thinking and soft image paved the way for the success of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
The subsequent Iranian defiance of the U.S. and Carter's inability to deal effectively with the crisis in which Iranian students raided the U.S. Embassy in Teheran and held a number of U.S. diplomats hostage led to disillusionment with him in sections of the U.S. and to his failure to get re-elected in 1980. The strong line taken by him against the invasion of Afghanistan by the Soviet troops towards the end of 1979 did not help him in wiping out the image of a soft and confused president.

Certainly Barry's much more liberal than what Carter was during his presidential tenure. But, since Carter left office, he's moved much further left than where he was. Some Many of the things he's said about Israel since he's left office could have come directly from the Hamas spokesman.
Obama is the most ideological leftist President, ever. But, we shouldn't undersell neither the failure of Carter nor his current radical foreign policy positions.

When our present scumbag-in-chief finishes his agenda to destroy America, Carter will seem almost competent, ...almost. Carter, for all of his multitudes of shortcomings and faults, didn’t hate America, or hate it much. 0bama, hardcore Marxist and black liberationist that he is, hates America and everything it has ever stood for or been prior to his becoming its greatest enemy. Besides that, 0 is mentally ill, a megalomaniacal, psychotic demon, not even rivaled by the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Boo boo bin-Biden or Nazi Pelosi. He is as evil as they come.
