I am a bit confused on this.

I have been reading that the combat captured insurgents have been mostly foreign fighters. This report is specific to the Al Qaeda (Al Qa’ida) originated ISI organization. In this report it states that the vast majority of the fighters today have nothing to do with Al Qaeda but the report doesn’t state were those groups originated from.

Who are the other groups and are they mostly home grown combatants or mostly foreign fighters?
