As my oldest son enters exam week, I thought that it would be a good idea to help all Freepers with children facing final exams to join in prayer for the success of our children -- success in their studies; success in standing against the culture of death and of anything goes; and success in their future lives as spouses and parents.
Many of our conservative children are isolated because of their views on social and economic issues. We need to pray that they have the courage to stand in the breach and to proclaim God's Kingdom right here, right now in Satan's dominion. The pressures of the drug culture, sexual immorality, cheating and lying pervade our schools -- both public and private.
Other than our example and a profound love for God, the greatest gift we can give to our children is our prayers for their success -- not in terms of the material world -- but success in uniting their efforts and will with the will of their Heavenly Father.
Despite the stories we hear and see everyday, there is a strong, faithful minority of children who suffer in silence everyday as they reject the pressre of their peers and the culture to give in. these children need our prayers, especially now as they face their exams.
Let all Freepers join in prayer this week for our children and our friends children. Let them know that they are not alone. That with God, they have all they need now and forever.

Thanks for this. I get tired of the threads that diss students who aren’t in private or home school.

Amen and Amen! I have 3 boys. My oldest has now graduated and is getting married. My middle is in public school and is finishing his jr year now. He is in all honors classes and is in a very liberal school. He is entering seminary minor after graduation next year. My youngest is homeschooled due to an autistic spectrum disorder that was not being dealt with satisfactorily in the school system. There are is a strong faithful minority in the school system, and they do need our prayers. They are not all silent though........

My kids are in private school, but they still need prayers. Even in private Christian schools, there are a lot of non-Christian kids. There is a lot of harassing, etc going on.
Basically, it’s very hard to be a Christian kid these days.

My daughter is continuing on thru summer sessions taking more courses. I took her and her 2 friends out for dinner & margaritas last week after finals. No libtards were allowed. She hangs with conservative like minded friends. They want to become doctors
