Would you support Elizabeth Dole? She was married to a conservative, fighter pilot hero. He was the leader of the GOP. She even appeared conservative at the time.
I’m not discounting Mrs. Cheney’s public stances or even the conservative words that she wrote in her book, but just because she was married to Dick Cheney does not mean that we should all throw our unwavering support to her ex-boss. Besides, how do you know in a year or two that she won’t start attacking my rights like Lizzy Dole did in her vicious attack on guns?
I prefer a candidate who has demonstrated his long held conservative principles through his actions. Sadly Mitt fails miserably in that regard.
I would support Liz Cheney. With one big caveat. I am truly in a place where i think legacies and inherited titles are becoming a bad idea.
The sequel is almost never as good as the original. Bush, Kassebaum, AlGore, Daley, the entire Kennedy dynasty,,,
