[RINO] Mitt Romney preps for 2012 with Virginia tour

In another sign that he’s eying a second run for the presidency, Mitt Romney is planning a series of stops in Virginia next week to help Republican candidates running in the commonwealth’s off-year election.

Virginia is one of a handful of states with competitive races this year, and one where Republican officials feel best about their prospects for victory.

The former Massachusetts governor is the featured guest at the high-dollar gala next Friday prior to the Virginia GOP’s state convention in Richmond — one of the party’s chief fundraising events.

Free Republic trashed Mitt at every chance it got before the last primary election

We do that to every liberal. Mcstain and Guilliani got the same treatment.

If you will read the front page, it will explain to you that this site is dedicated to conservatism, not Republicanism.

Why don’t you tell Mr. Robinson to his face ? If you want to shill for a lying, party-destroying Socialist like Slick Willard on this CONSERVATIVE website, Mr. Stunned, don’t expect the rest of us to go along with you.

And when clutch decision time came in the primaries, the veil came off and FR and Jim Robinson turned out to be full-throated McCain supporters. McCain!

Actually, if I recall correctly, McCain got the nod from the Boss only after he got the nomination. Most of this board voted for Palin.

"Just as evasive as ever. Can’t answer a question to save your life."

This thread is about your holy idol and personal messiah, Slick Willard. I think it's time you cut the crap and head for the exit door. We're sick of your lies and your liberal garbage.

Note how the Slick Willardbots always attempt to switch the topic when the heat is on their idol/employer.

I have not researched her at the level I would vet a Presidential Candidate. Doubt she would run but if she did I would give her a good going over, and if she does not pass muster will toss into the same heap I tossed Romney in after I spent several week researching his so called Conservatism.

How about you, can you let go of your personal bias and vote for an actual conservative this time?

Free Republic trashed Mitt at every chance it got before the last primary election.

That's what a primary is for, to filter out all the RINOs and work for the most Conservative candidate possible.

FR and Jim Robinson turned out to be full-throated McCain supporters.

I take it you don't know the difference between a primary and a general election. First, I doubt anyone here was a 'full throated (whatever the hell that means) McCain supporter', most are full throated Obama opposers. I believe Jim stated over and over, it was Palin pushed him over the top to support the ticket.

Palin who was always considered a RINO by Alaskan conservatives and still is.

Err.. no she isn't. Her main opposition comes from establishment 'good old boys network' RINOs. One pro-life group attacked her on bad information and when they where called out on it, they retracted their statement. That was the closest thing to 'conservative' opposition she had.

I don't know how many times I have seen this posted by mittbots before....."FR just dooms itself by sanctioning this [RINO] name calling".......so far, this "doom" hasn't been noticeable. It seems to be to be wishful thinking on the part of the Romney supporters.

I believe they would if they could cast into outer darkness everyone who doesn't worship at Romney's feet!

So you're pulling a Pelosi, are you? I don't have to answer your questions because you aren't worthy? Courageous. As you well know, Liz Cheney worked for both Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney in the last election. Now, Conservatives are excited about her and her performance over the last several weeks.

But, "REAL CONSERVATIVES" here at FR can't support her either. Why? Because along with Rush Limbaugh and nearly all Right-Wing talk show hosts and a good number of acknowledged Reagan Conservatives supported Romney, so to did Liz Cheney. And as FR is aware, no one who supported Mitt Romney can be called a Conservative. So, scratch another off the list of acceptable candidates. Any suggestions on who would be acceptable? It might be a shorter list.

I think Liz Cheney would be an excellent candidate. Someone on another thread suggested a Palin/Cheney ticket for 2012. Sounds good to me.

The Mittiacs are professional liars and dissemblers. I’ve seen the same techniques in the mormonism discussion threads, where the apologists for mormonism revert to slamming the authenticity of the Bible and picking ways to deceive readers by taking passages out of context and outright mischaracterizations. There must be something about the effect mormonism has on the human mind—of even non-mormons—which guides Mittiacs to worship a man so left of center that they lie and deceive as a way to promote their rino-man.

I will decide that after I vet her.

Unlike you, razzle dazzle does little for me. I favor substance and steadfast philosophies that are not easily swayed by the political winds.

I have little time for bright shiny objects...

It is past time for the excellent adventure of Sarah and Liz. But to save Amerika, they will have to have at least a stalemate in the Senate and close to parity in the House.
