I think Liz Cheney would be an excellent candidate. Someone on another thread suggested a Palin/Cheney ticket for 2012. Sounds good to me.

It is past time for the excellent adventure of Sarah and Liz. But to save Amerika, they will have to have at least a stalemate in the Senate and close to parity in the House.
