Sarah Palin has picked a Christian author and magazine journalist to collaborate with her on her forthcoming memoir for HarperCollins. The journalist, Lynn Vincent, has been at World—the nation's best-read Christian newsmagazine—for the last 10 years as a writer and editor.
This isn't a surprising choice for Palin, but it's certainly one worth noting. It's more evidence that she's honing a distinctly Christian public image since coming off the campaign trail last year. This seems to be a change from the days when she was a state-level figure, almost entirely unknown outside of Alaska.

I am glad she got a book deal but was unaware that HarperCollins published coloring books.

Sheesh. How on earth did the author get this from the fact that Sarah chose Vincent to be her collaborator?
Congrats to Lynn. She’s interviewed me for at least two columns she’s done for World, always is thorough and fair, and since Sarah didn’t choose me :), I’m glad she picked Lynn!
I have been a subscriber to WORLD magazine for years and it is an excellent magazine with an outstanding group of writers. Their strength is the Christian worldview they bring to current issues.
If you don’t subscribe to WORLD, you really should!!! Great magazine.

She's not honing a Christian image. She's a Christian.
And she's picked a writer who will likely understand where she is coming from.

So true - as if she is trying to prove she’s a Christian.
I’m concerned that this may play to pigeonhole SP as the “Christian candidate.” It will also give the Palin-haters another excuse to trash the book. I don’t know anything about this writer or her magazins, maybe she’s very good. Sooner or later, however, SP is going to go have to go back to the MSM and put up some great performances. That’s not for the MSM’s benefit, but for the mushy middle whose votes she will need.
I’m not saying should try to hide her faith. But, I’m saying that to be taken seriously as a POTUS candidate, she is going to have to demonstrate mastery of economics, nat’l security, etc. I think she can do it and in time will do it, but

Vincent is also an abortion survivor from what I read. She seems like an excellent choice to help write this book

McCain was never my guy. I voted for him because of Sarah Palin. Do you think it’s really nice bashing a woman who has NEVER said one bad thing about Mitt Romney. What’s your beef with her anyway
