France denounces Netanyahu's Jerusalem 'forever' vow

PARIS (AFP) — France accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday of prejudicing the outcome of the Middle East peace process by declaring that Jerusalem would forever be Israel's undivided capital.

"The declaration made by the Israeli prime minister yesterday in Jerusalem prejudices the final status agreement," foreign ministry spokesman Frederic Desagneaux told reporters in Paris.

Separately, President Nicolas Sarkozy's office announced that the French leader had invited Netanyahu to talks in Paris on June 3, their first meeting since the Israeli right-winger returned to office in February.

The international community does not recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital and the city's status is a stumbling block in negotiations with Palestinians, who want east Jerusalem to be the capital of their future state.

Shouldn’t the French devote their efforts to get Lebanon straightened out?

Look where the comments are coming from. The Froggies are so afraid of their Muslim population that they’ve capitaulated to any anti-Israeli sentiment that’s flowing around.

Muslims want to have it both ways. I guess if you believe those who believe in a nation state then the idea of a Palestinian state has some credibility===although their was never a viable independent nation called Palestine-— it was always someone else’s province. The likes of Hamas and Hezb’allah belive in the Muslim Ummah not in the nation state. So the idea of a two state solution is not a permanent one to settle Arab-Israeli problems. They want the Califate ruling over the whole Muslim Ummah and they see the existing of Israel as an impediment to achiving total sovereignty over the territory they believe should belong to Dar al Islam. In the long run they might agree to a two state agreemnt, but in the long run Israel has to be wiped out. Bibi, stand your ground against Obama. He has his head up his tuchas on this issue (most issue really)

They better take a note of Psalm 2...

1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,

3 ”Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”

4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.

5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:

6 ”Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”

7 ”I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.

8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ “

10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

The Israelis brought a lot of this Shinola on their own heads by worrying what others would think of them, and otherwise trying to be the good guys, reasonable and forthcoming.

Instead, when attacked by Arab armies the first time, it should have been the last time any Arab lived in Israel. The second time Arab armies attacked, beyond any doubt the Israelis should have kicked all the Arabs out.

Had Jerusalem been a unified Israeli capital since 1967, a lot of this nonsense wouldn’t be happening. All religious sites should be declared the property of Israel, with generous terms for their use, if they like, but with no illusion who owns them.

There would be no Gaza Strip or West Bank. And they would be as green and lush as the rest of Israel, with modern development and prosperity for those who both appreciate it, and behave themselves.

The al-Asqa mosque would be gone. Again, if they liked, they could box it up nice and ship it to Saudi Arabia, but it has no place on the site of the Jewish Temple.

Instead, the Israelis “fiddled while Rome burned”, and allowed situations to become problems. They should have also made it clear a long time ago that their country is not for debate by the rest of the world. The concept is called “sovereignty”.

France hasn’t read the Bible then... LOL...

Zechariah 2

1 Then I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.

2 So I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

3 And there was the angel who talked with me, going out; and another angel was coming out to meet him,

4 who said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying: ‘Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.

5 For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ “

6 “Up, up! Flee from the land of the north,” says the Lord; “for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven,” says the Lord.

7 Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.”

8 For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.

9 For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.

10 “Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,” says the Lord.

11 Many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.

12 And the Lord will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem.

13 Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!”

Can you imagine “poking your finger in God’s eye”... because that’s what they’re doing... :-)

How many of these French fools were witness to the occupation of France in WWII???

What very short and convenient memories they all seem to have.
If not for the USA and others, they would be speaking and reading signs in German thruout France by now.
