A President who declares that waterboarding terrorists is torture yet supports the most egregious and cruel methods of torture for God's most defenseless children in their mothers’ wombs.
A President who even denies fully born children of botched abortions their rights to comfort and care by other medical personnel after the abortionist does his dastardly deed.
Notre Dame's Administration and Board of Directors distinctly ignored all these good and faithful men and women’s pleas and the above record of this President. Thus I found myself compelled to do what I have always done:
Defend Innocent Life by an act of prayerful, non-violent civil disobedience on the campus of Notre Dame.
Since the Rescue Movement began in the Eighties, I and almost 100,000 other Americans have been arrested, some suffered police brutality, some faced and endured harsh prison terms and fines for directly and always non-violently confronting the evil of child killing at America’s state sanctioned killing centers.
I have gone to federal prison challenging the Clinton Administration’s FACE ACT and unconstitutional Buffer Zones. Legal costs, punitive fines and longer jail sentences eventually drove good men and women back into their homes to protect their families.
But never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would have to ask:
Why would Notre Dame arrest and imprison a Catholic priest for trying to stop the killing of a baby?
I was there because the man giving the orders to kill babies was there.
I carried Christ's Cross and said The Rosary on the campus of Notre Dame dedicated to the Patroness of America and the Unborn in order to save the lives of our most precious babes while they are still dancing in their mothers’ wombs.
I am a Catholic priest. It is my duty to speak out and to stop the killing of God’s children.
For this, The President of Notre Dame had me arrested and put in jail.
Who could ever believe what they saw that day on television sets across the country?

In April, Kansas Bishop Robert Finn spoke to pro-life activists from Kansas and Missouri. He said:

When the left speak of 'birth control' they co-opt the language. We know they include killing unborn, alive children as 'birth control', but the average joe/josephine thinks they speak of contraception. The killing of already conceived children with a two pill regimen in the first eight weeks is just another form of 'birth control' pills, and slips by as if okay because the left has co-opted the language and then used it to deceive the unwary. When a leftist or even a liberal with whom I am in discussion or debate uses the phrase 'birth control' I immediately ask them to clarify if they are referring solely to contraception, preventing conception. I realize my Catholic brothers oppose this purposed contraception, but the point is that the left has not only ushered contraception into the mind of America, they have coat-tailed killing the alive unborn with 'birth control pill regimens' because we allow them to use such imprecise planguage then exploit the aqmbiquities!
Now, when someone hears a discussion of Barry Obowma's work in Illinois, they hear 'survived a botched abortion' in reference to the victims terminated, and think 'after accidental survival, probably too injured to survive without extraordinarily exspensive madical measures'--and we all know how that affected liberal support for terminating Terri.
The demons have co-opted the language and are using it to win a subtle tug of heart strings, where there is a mythical weighing of costs, quality of life for these 'survivorts of botched abortions', etc.
In reality, the child was in the womb, very alive, uninjured, yet the murderers force premature birth then take advantage of the weakness of the little preemie's lungs to murder these children via neglecting medical attention for them. These babies were not injured and accidentally born alive, they were purposely murdered AFTER being born uninjured!
The dumbed down readers/listeners are co-opted into weighing 'quality of life for the survivors' and issues of 'cost to society to medically care for these maimed children for the rest of their lives', or even 'hinderance to continued abortion freedom if another physician must be called in to the failed abortion.'
