I ask myself that ALL OF THE TIME. I know it was tough for team Bush/Cheney to get their message out. The media is so far in the tank for the Dems, because they're overwhelmingly Dem/lib/leftist themselves, but c'mon. Bush should have been in front of the cameras more, not in an Obama-esque pointless kind of way, but in a controlled, factual Cheney way.
When Bush was Pres., they backed Cheney out of the picture when the left hit squad effectively neutralized him through the help of the media, not facts of course, and to stop the misguided illusion that Bush was the puppet and Dick pulled the strings. But the left and the media thought Rove was the puppetmaster too. They tried to make the case that Bush was at once a gullible brainless doofus controlled by Cheney/Rove and an eeeeeevil genius capable of conning all those smarty-pants Dems over weapons of mass destruction.
It's infuriating, I know, because when you call the libtards on an issue and pepper spray them with facts, facts, and more facts, they respond with personal insults, vagaries, and Bushitler nonsense, but as we're seeing now, with Cheney unplugged, the left is left to flounder in their nothingness in the wake of his awesomeness.
Sorry for the rant but I'm so with you...

The two speeches have shown not just a difference in philosophy, but a difference in leadership and maturity. Clearly, Cheney has both while obama has neither.
More specifically, Cheney is a man while obama is a metrosexual boy searching for some masculine identity. Fine for a state senator, as long as it's not my state, but absolutely intolerable for the President of the US. Way to go obama voters.
In just a few short months, the economy is trashed, unemployment is seeking a new record and our domestic security is in danger. It's a matter of time before someone or some group decides to test it. Not some domestic idiots with a grand plan, but more along the lines of 9/11.
All of this and what's to come belongs to obama and his voters. In your heart of hearts, as bad as mccain was/is, you know our country would be better off right now if mccain had won the last election.

Correct. Barry loves to romanticize the memory of his parents. The truth is, his dad was here to use the system, and his mother was an irresponsible, spoiled and defiant girl who was loose in her morals and obviously not quite right mentally.
Let's face it, that coupling was strange at best.

The Vice President sure gave a full spectrum speech void of any flaws unlike the one zero presented. Problem as usual is how many who might have listened to both, have the basic background regarding to the long term GWOT issues to distinguish between the wisdom in the first presentation verse the add hoc ill informed tattle of the later.

I'm a happily married female, and I'm in love with Dick Cheney, too! I love his quiet no-nonsense demeanor. He would have made an outstanding President, but we were fortunate to have him as VP as long as we did.
Go Cheney!

I don’t know why either, but McCain came off like a complete weakling during the election.
