Some question my decision to accept job-ready stimulus funds, while leaving on the table for discussion other funds that grow government. Washington dollars are tempting, but we must consider whether they create sustainability, help develop our resources, reduce dependency on Washington, and all without mortgaging our kids' futures......

I agree with her, however, I think she and Obama have different ideas.
OK, I liked her at first, but now I have to just admit it - she doesn't have the wattage of a zippo...
Really??
Mitt, is that you?
Why do we put up with this illiterate lowbrow crap from republican pols? Of course giant stimulus boondoggles expand government. In other shocking news, the sky still looks blue on clear days...
Wattage of a zippo
Illiterate lowbrow crap.
Probably the only nicest description of your candidate.
This is back in March when she wrote in her own paper what the stimulus actually entails - whether you find it low brow or not I really could give two S#its but unfortunately most of the electorate or state constituents do not get what it means and it’s great for an elected politician to spell it out!
ahhhhh Jason C,
Seems that the Mittzies and Hucksters are at it again (clown music plays).
Stimulus money is lose-lose situation.
Once the money dries up, then the states are left holding the bag & tab.
Public gets used the freebies and becomes enslaved.

I met him, saw him many times in person as Gov. and Pres.

Michael Reagan on Palin: ‘Dad reborn; only this time he’s a she’
Welcome Back, Dad
Wednesday night I watched the Republican National Convention on television and there, before my very eyes, I saw my Dad reborn; only this time he’s a she.
And what a she!
In one blockbuster of a speech, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin resurrected my Dads indomitable spirit and sent it soaring above the convention center, shooting shock waves through the cynical medias assigned spaces and electrifying the huge audience with the kind of inspiring rhetoric we havent heard since my Dad left the scene.
Understandable and I hear your point - however, she originally rejected the stimulus and has denounced the funds since January of 2009 when she got back to AK and it was announced that another stimulus package was coming down the pike. She is not spinning anything but she did write this piece prior to allowing a public forum and the end of the legislative session and made the final decision on the funds.
In AK as every other state the legislature gave a reach around to the conservative governors and accepted the funds...
If you read the ADN on a regular basis they were having a fit and reporting on protesters who were upset that Palin was refusing the funds - she made a bet of sorts saying if people could prove that there were no strings attached to the funds in that forum and prove that the state would not have to cover unsustainable costs then she would accept the funds - little did anyone truly know how the legislature really had the final say and we are also seeing how the funds may be legally binding as it is... they created this stimulus crud to really pigeon hole everyone!
