I once had a tech person from India trying to fix a problem I had with my Verizon email connection.

I started making fun of his boss, which he enjoyed enormously. He did seem to put forth more effort after that and (finally) fixed the problem.

People are people. :-)

In the midst of our advanced technological success, NPR had at least two separate pieces yesterday that addressed raising your own chickens for food to survive the financial crisis.

That's beautiful. Wasn't that in the movie "Platoon"?

It sounds familiar.

Amazing << Hear this. Feel this, and tell me that this isn't music.

Oh, dear...

"Platoon" and several others. Here is a list I seached up:

Amélie of Montmartre
The Elephant Man
Kevin and Perry Go Large
Lorenzo's Oil (choral version - Agnus Dei)
El norte
Platoon
Reconstruction
Les Roseaux Savages
S1m0ne
The Scarlet Letter
