And wait, here’s the kicker:

“I was ready; I just couldn’t believe it. We’ve been doing it for years,” Dominican Sister Marita Charley, development director at Good Shepherd Parish in Braddock, said.

The parish sells homemade goodies at its weekly bingo games and will continue to do so, law or no law, Charley said.”

Sounds to me like Sister Marita Charley is going to find herself on Napolitano’s list of domestic “Man Made Disasters”

Or in her case, “Nun Made Disasters.”

We should stamp out home made food everywhere. After all, who EVER heard of a problem with factory food?

BTW, I never use Crisco when I make pie crust; I use unsalted butter.

As the lawmakers with disordered minds continue their insane spending and taxation, their desperate actions envelope more and more innocents. Frankly there is only one end to the spiral into socialism, economic collapse because no one will give up their bennies.

Ok you...you must be a trained professional....lol

FReepmail me a recipe when you have time.

My pie crusts tend to have the consistency of clam shells. meh

(How’s that for a visual?)

But I’ll repay the favor, I’m a great Italian cook! :)

"BTW, I never use Crisco when I make pie crust; I use unsalted butter."

My wife learned to make pie crust from her mother and so, consequently, she now makes the best pie crust in the world (her mother formerly held that title). I hate to tell you, but Crisco is the key to the most light, and flakey pie crust you ever want to wrap your lips around. It's all about how you cut it into the flour.

We save the real butter for the chocolate-chocolate chip cookies (and yes, I could stand to lose a few pounds, LOL!).

I am just saying. But, before you laugh too hard, they are now prevalent in GA where once you could not find many Mexicans at all. And I have to wonder about pirate roach coaches at predominantly Mex worksites.

"One-third of all food-borne illnesses come from private fundraisers," said Bill Chirdon, director of the Bureau of Food Safety and Laboratory Services at Agriculture.

Is that more or less than say McDonalds or Burger King or from that sushi at your local truck stop?

"That's our backbone. ... I think it's one of the questions on the application when you apply for Catholic school: Can you bake?" she said with a laugh.

this is so true it's not even funny. I baked my bakeside off for my kids Catholic school!

How about that pissed off illegal in the kitchen of a restaurant, who lobs a turd into the salsa because of La Raza torquing them up. Black Rage meet Illegal Alien Rage. The rest of you, take anti-biotics, shup-up and take it.

BTW, the turd thing was suspected a few years back in Northern California, which gave 200 people ecoli, IIRC.
