the DEMS are here:
Bill Baker(R)held this seat before Tauscher. Before him it was Ron (The Red) Dellums.
yep, unfortunately the district line were changed since Baker had it. A bit more DEMocratic now.
Dellums represented the Oakland/East bay ghetto and guilty white liberal/nazi Berkeley district. The 10th district I believe was created in the 1991 redistricting and did not exist prior to that.
Dellums was my Congress critter when I lived in San Ramon. Gerrymandered like the worst snake you ever saw. (Can’t say if it was the 10th as I don’t remember)
I see - well that’s California for you. As long as one or the other of those Burton boys was doing the redistricting in the CA legislature, Republicans (politicians and regular folks) were screwed hard, both at the state and federal level as regards districting. I haven’t noticed that things have gotten any better lately either.
is there any local opinion on Rupf & DelBeccaro?
I’ve meet both and would support either. DelBeccaro is tireless in rebuilding the GOP and the party.
i have noticed these posts about elections get the least “Views”. The stories about UFO’s and Spelling Bees are the big items.
Original article dated April 30th.
That's what I recall though I've never lived there.
And it's not Ron "The Red" Dellums, it's Ron "Mr. Abscam" Dellums!
