Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) took the opportunity Wednesday to defend House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who has come under fire in recent weeks over a controversy surrounding when she was told of the use of enhanced interrogation techniques being used by the CIA.

"The CIA has a very bad record when it comes to — I was about to say 'candid'; that's too mild — to honesty," Specter, a former chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said in a lunch address to the American Law Institute. He cited misleading information about the agency's involvement in mining harbors in Nicaragua and the Iran-Contra affair.

Oh my goodness, Spector talking about credibility???!!! How stupid ARE rats? Did he get his highly-placed appointments on committees yet, or are they still stringing him out for use until his usefulness as the court fool is at an end?

Specter is proving his allegiance to the democrats as they said he must. I am sure they said, Hey, go out and stick up for Pelosi and your senority is returned after you vote for card check. You will have proven yourself.

They weren’t going to do it. They know it could be political suicide.

If anyone votes for him next year they are crazy. What a loser.

Being a dishonorable traitorous slut is a habit that won’t die easily for Arlene.

Easy move for him. Nancy Pinata is in the House. Turncoat Arlen is in the Senate (for now).

Let’s see him make some difficult moves. Then, assuming that his health permits him to live so long, let’s see his political career survive the next round of elections in PA.

I would believe a snake oil salesman, speaking before they wanted to frame Bush a little more so than Specter's filthy mouth trying to save his RAT ass.

Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) took the opportunity Wednesday to defend House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)

Later, Specter was overheard saying..., "If there is a democrat ass that needs kissing..., I am your man (just don't make me face opposition in the primaries"!!!

Who cares what that old goat has to say? He's totally irrelevant. He's a liberal and has always gone against conservatives, so I'm happy that he dropped out. I wish he'd take the rest of the RINO/LIBERALS with him!!

Words fail me! Specter is his own class of POS.

One good thing about the present political disaster is that it is exposing the slimeballs more clearly.
