Who’s fault is it? Did “daddy” leave on his own to impregnate other women or did “mommy” just say thanks and kick “daddy” out?

There are simple answers, not easy ones. This situation is a result of easy “solutions”.

Another effect that gives cause for alarm is that a man who grows accustomed to the use of contraceptive methods may forget the reverence due to a woman, and, disregarding her physical and emotional equilibrium, reduce her to being a mere instrument for the satisfaction of his own desires, no longer considering her as his partner whom he should surround with care and affection.

the link between marriage and parenthood is no longer the norm

60% is still the norm. The left just hopes that big government will be daddy to the majority....more control and power.

Is it much different than when our mothers and grandmothers were growing up?With all the rape and incest there were more babies born out of wedlock then now I bet...Only then we didn't have to pay for it,the families adopted the children out or family member raised them..Now we have to support all the little angels..

Most of these births seem to be among women aged 25-35. Many of them are cohabitating with the fathers, but without marrying them.

Why is this happening

Fewer ladies and gentlemen; more pigs. It's the age of instant gratification and entitlement combined with the same old story since the beginning: selfish pride.

Men need wives. Women need husbands. But, we're been stuck on "me" for so long now, children who need mothers AND fathers are lucky if they get one or the other to take on the role of parent.

Single Motherhood

Are single motherhood mothers different mothers than the unwed mothers we read about?

The word you’ve probably never heard, Cathy, is “bastardy” — a condition that once carried enough social shame to keep it relatively rare.

One of the future latent problems of unwed motherhood and multiple fathers in small demographic groups like races or small remote communities is half brothers / half sisters procreating.

The children of baby momma A, B, C, D have children with baby daddy A,B,C, D will not even know if they are genetically related since nobody knows who fathered who in many cases. They could easily be first cousins and not even know it.

Even in large population area, groups of people tend to marry within their own race, ethnic background and religious upbringing. Now that marriage no longer sets up natural barriers to interbreeding with in groups, I can see in the future our intelligence as a whole being compromised.

From the column: Millions of single mothers and fathers do their best to be good parents, and their efforts should not be disparaged.

Therein lies at least part of the problem. We're too busy making them feel good about the havoc they're wreaking on the kids.

Look at the mindlessness within the Black community to see where this is heading. And as I’ve said before, this affects all generations, including the older/elder who end up taking care and raising these kids because momma out gettin’ her freak on.
