I'm wondering if Obama's omission of visiting the Pope has anything to do with the the Vatican (reputedly) rejecting three names forwarded as possible ambassadors. If Obama keeps floating the names of pro-abort Catholics, and the Vatican keeps rejecting them, maybe there will
be no Obama-Pope meeting. Ever.
Unless and until Obama comes up with the name of a prolife Catholic.
Is that possible?

I'm wondering if Obama's omission of visiting the Pope has anything to do with the the Vatican (reputedly) rejecting three names forwarded as possible ambassadors. I think the theory about trivializing the importance of the Holy See (while centralizing the importance of the liberal, pro-abort wing of AMCHURCH®) is more feasible.
IMHO, FWIW, YMMV

Unless and until Obama comes up with the name of a prolife Catholic. Leaving out the possibility that Obama doesn't even KNOW any pro-life Catholics, I don't think one would be willing to serve under his administration. I try to imagine how I'd be able to reconcile the two positions, and it's impossible. I think we're looking at four years without an envoy to the Holy See. Very sad.
