I just watched Fox News Sunday that I DVRed last Sunday. Mitch McConnell is a very articulate spokesman for Conservative values. The leadership does not back candidates because they are RINOs or true Conservatives. They back the candidate that they think can win the election because they can not afford to give up one single vote in the Senate and need to gain a few as well. Although I like Senator Bunning, I have noticed that he is considerably "slower on the uptake" than he used to be.
