New York (AP) --
Longtime fundraiser Norman Hsu was convicted Tuesday of violating campaign finance laws in a case that became an embarrassment to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and other prominent Democrats.
Prosecutors had argued that Hsu, 58, used straw donors to make thousands of dollars in campaign donations to bypass rules limiting the amount any single individual or group can donate.
Hsu's defense argued he was framed by investors who cut deals with the government to avoid prosecution.

The question remains...why aren’t Hillary and Bill in the dock as well?

Still no coverage of where the money came from that the ‘straw donors’ gave to Hsu. Hsu is Chinese and all the donors were Chinese. Anyone recall the Clinton connection with China when they were in the WH ?
To: mort56
why arent Hillary and Bill in the dock as well? Because as others have pointed out, Democrats cannot be shamed into doing the right thing. I see no political hay being made of this event.

I don’t think it’ll even get that. Maybe in 2012 if Hillary runs again...

As I recall, the Paw family in San Francisco contributed about $280,000 to Hillary’s campaign despite the fact that Paw was a $49K/year postal employee.

Was this the guy who lived in a 1100 sq. foot home at the end of an airport runway ?
