That is the strongest one I have felt...and it was rather shallow...3 km....I don't want to feel any thing stronger on this ground which seems to amplify everything...

Speaking of quakes, and being a native Angeleno, you wanna know what really pissed me off?
I was in Baton Rouge, Louisiana the morning of the ‘94 Northridge quake, and missed it.<p.
I must have stayed mad about that for months, and didn’t want to hear anyone talk about it after I got home.

Felt a real sharp sideways jolt and then several bumps and rolls here in downtown L.A. (highrise) A mirror on the wall was flapping against wall loudly for awhile! It was strong but relatively short.
