When many parents think of Girl Scouts, they imagine young girls in uniform selling Thin Mints and Tagalong cookies – not learning about stone labyrinths, world peace, global warming, yoga, avatars, smudging incense, Zen gardens and feminist, communist and lesbian role models.
But that's exactly what many of 2.7 million Girl Scouts will learn about with a new curriculum called "Journeys" released last year.

What a shame. This certainly isn’t what I grew up with, thank God. Politics didn’t seem to be a part of Girl Scouts or Brownies back then. Oh, dear.
Why do these nasties always seem to go for the childrens organizations?
This is exactly what would have happend to the Boy Scouts if they had abandoned their ban on homosexuals as scout leaders. Even with the ban, they are constantly having to ferret out homosexual predators and evict them from the Scouts.
Here’s an excellent alternative to GSA. American Heritage Girls emphasize God, country and family. Imagine that . . .

A link on this page will help you locate a group somewhere near most large cities, but the organization is fairly young and still growing - but growing it is.
Isn’t it funny how the same people that condemned the Catholic Church for allowing predatory homosexual priests to molest young boys villifies the Boyscouts for trying to prevent the very same thing from happening in THEIR organization?
There is an alternative organization to the Girl Scouts, called American Heritage Girls.
However, parents have a responsibility to teach their children the values of their family, as well as skill they, as parents, value.
Ironically, more today than they used to need, because when eventually they grow up and get married, they can’t assume their spouse can perform their typical gender roles. Boys need to learn how to cook, clean, sew at least some, and take care of children; and girls need to learn a ton of things from electrical repair to balancing checkbooks to how to take care of children.
Simple.They can’t reproduce,so they must recruit.

we wouldn’t want to force the queers to limit their recruiting to schools, church, and sports now would we?
