Good essay, Jeff--but I could have done without the photos! I had managed to not lay my eyes on him in his glorious gown until now!

We don't need to worry much--God will sort him out in the end. Also, this man probably sealed his doom to have a one term presidency. Too many Americans can no longer stomach the killing of the unborn. By him appearing here today, millions of people who might not have noticed otherwise have heard about this travesty, and they are not enthralled by his actions.

All I can say is that the lofty regard I had for Notre Dame for over a half century and for American Catholic Church has taken a nosedive that will never be able to be rebuilt by the likes of the present bunch.
