Great speech. I wonder who wrote it.

He talked a lot and said nothing.

Empty speech, empty suit.

I do not think divide and conquer will work for them this time.

Hey, what’s a little partial-birth abortion among friends, eh?

courageous commitment to honest, thoughtful dialogue

Dialogue?

Disagree with the Obama Messiah's monologue and Notre Dames pulls the plug on your coverage.

That's pretty funny... I seem to remember that you tried to shut down honest, thoughtful dialogue during the Presidential campaign...

And not only that... you didn't say the same "nice" words about the Tea Parties on April 15th...

The Huffington Post is comparing Obama’s speech to the “miracle of the wedding feast of Cana.”

I'm not a catholic, but it appears that elements of the church have swayed a great deal from the scriptures. Those elements include Notre Dame.

Perhaps it's time for the next Martin Luther to step forward and move the Christian flock away from the political body formerly known as the Catholic Church.

How insulting. That’s the nicest thing I can say right now. I am thoroughly disgusted and I couldn’t even make it through the entire speech. I can’t imagine what it would have been like to actually hear the arrogance live.

Perhaps it’s time for the next Martin Luther to step forward

and THAT my friend is exactly what the conversation was today. A NEW Catholic church leaving behind the one that USED to be.

Your generation must decide how to save God's creation from a changing climate that threatens to destroy it.

This guy Obama is as deep as a bird bath. He's as dense as a block of iron. And the people that swoon at his lines on global warming have walnut sized brains.

I listened to the Father's introduction and to Obama's speech. Here's my questions for the Father.

How about Obama's abject and wanton support for the Freedom of Choice Act, Father?

How about Obama'ss removing the ban on fedferal funds for abortion, Father?

How about Obama's vote against stopping partical birth abortion, Father?

How about Obama's sickening votes in the IL Senate against a bill aimed at stopping live birth abortions, Father?

Sorry, hearing his opposing view is one thing. Dialog and engagement are one thing...and they are all good things to do in the public square so people can hear clearly both sides and decide accordingly.

But what you did as the leader of Notre Dame today goes far, far beyond hearing him, or engaging him. You honoredf him with a law degree, thereby tacitly lending credence to his position in law which is the abject antithesis of the fundamental values that the Catholic Church stand for, and its position on this fundamental, crucial issue.

Shame, shame, shame. You have twisted the minds of youth towards an avenue of deciet and a wrong which may take decades to undo.

For all of your, and Obama's flowery words about aborting less babies...and let's be clear...for all the talk about KILLING less babies, all that Obama stands for and is pushing for...and will continue to puch for...is going to result in many, many more abortions here and abroad.

God have mercy on your soul and on him for that.

At least this good, faithful Priest, whom YOU had arrested, knew how to address this issue...and God bless him for it.

The HuffPo should be celebrating the miracle of Arianna’s wedding night to her freakin’ gay hubby for her bag of gold at the end of that rainbow without which she would be in some ho-house in Greece without benefit of botox. Ahhhh. Wonder how much wine had to be zapped up to score that one! Maybe her kids were virgin births or something.
How in the world do these deluded people manage to keep breathing in a vaccuum?
