Will the last activist who hopes the antiwar cause will re-emerge as a central tenet of the Democratic Party please turn out the lights on the way out the door?

Little evidence exists that any antiwar movement is alive, well and influencing policy in this country.

Certainly no voice for it is coming from Barack Obama's White House. In fact, Obama has been pretty consistent in

The entire point of the “anti-war movement” was to get Democrats elected. Now that this has happened, the war can go on as far as the “anti-war” activists are concerned.

It’s just not hip to protest war now that Obama is President.

“Anti war” is the same as the “Greenies”....it’s just a front for ulterior motives.

Wasn’t he just on TV with that disgusting Code Pinko “lady” harrassing the Cheneys at a meeting of some sort, at a hotel? She was screaming “Wart Criminal!” idiocies, and the exception to the marine Corps rule, was clapping for her in the background? Looks like The Ghoul Sheehan, lost her acolyte. to Medea.

There WAS NEVER an anti-war movement. There was an anti-Bush administration movement, which has lost steam now that Bush is back in Dallas, although Cheney is occasionally offering himself up for sacrifice. There was an anti-America movement, which opposed anything and everything this country did, including measures it took to protect its own security and the lives of American citizens, because America, they think, is the source of all evil in the world and has been since its creation (unfortunately, our president agrees). And there was an anti-Republican movement, although I have to say the RINOs are reaping what they’ve sown. Anything and everything that BO does is OK with the Leftists. Cindy Sheehan is an idiot and a dupe. She allowed her grief to override her ability to think. And Medea is just an ordinary, garden variety Leftard with a talent for self-promotion. MoveOn and Answer are bullies, the intellectually bankrupt Leftist tools of George Soros and his ilk.

It’s kind of interesting, what’s happening with the Democratic Party now - they know they have a big majority among the regular middle class, so they don’t need the “fringe” votes (homosexuals, anti-war kooks, etc.) so much and can thus string them along. You can just see the Democratic leaders’ thinking - “Where are they gonna go - the Republican Party?”.

It’ll be fun to see when these ticked-off whiners finally bite the Dems back in the next few months.

Today's 'anti-war movement' is very similar to the pre WWII 'anti-war movement'.

Today's version are the 'leftist anti republican war (aka Bush's war)'. But now that a Leftist Dem is POTUS and Barry owns Afghanistan, its like how the pre WWII 'Leftist anti-war movement' all of a sudden became very PRO war when Hitler attacked their fellow commie travelers (USSR) with Operation Barbarossa on June 21, 1941.

Prior to that they didn't give a 'carp' about Hitler, Mussolini, Europe, or 'saving anyone from Fascism'. But attack Mother Russia! ... that demanded retaliation. Now Fascism must be stomped out at all costs!

So Barry's got a free ride, the anti war Leftists have crawled back under their rocks. To boot, with his pick of Lt Gen Stanley McCrystal, a career SF officer and absolutely the right guy for Afghanistan, Barry CAN become a 'war hero' like FDR.

His kisser will prolly even wind up on a Dime. /s

The ‘anti-war’ movement was ALWAYS phony as F@$#. They were nowhere to be seen during clinton’s crap, and nowhere to be seen now. It’s a purely partisan political movement. Period.

It’s disgusting that they try to destroy our national security and moral to get their damned politicians in powre.

Gosh, it's almost as if Obama lied about that. Weird conclusion to draw, since he's the most honest president we've ever elected in the HISTORY of the WORLD!!! ;')
