Ah, the Marriott, the Hyatt, Seaport Village.

Coronado,Mission Bay, Pacific Beach......

Wonderful pictures of a wonderful place.

Wife and I have been to San Diego three times—’91,’95 and ‘02.

We once thought we would retire there, the climate is wonderful, the city exciting, the area beautiful.

San Diego is out of sight in living expenses now.

The only reason I would want to go to California now is to see Reagan’s Library in Simi Valley.

I hope your once proud state can survive the Terminator. He has been a disaster, as a Governor, as a Republican, and as a person.

There's not too much else to see in Simi Valley, alas. The drive down California Highway 1 (El Camino Real) is spectacular. (A close second is the koshu kaido in Japan for similar reasons). The wine produced in Edna Valley (also very scenic) is second to none, despite what the French or Napa Valley-ans say.

Last time I was in CA I visited the Reagan Library. My family loved it. Kind of a pilgramage. I have to go again now that there is a memorial to Reagan there.

I tell people at work I went to the Reagan library instead of Disneyland. Actually we went to both but never agagin. From now on only the library and Sea World in SD.
