The only reason I would want to go to California now is to see Reagans Library in Simi Valley. There's not too much else to see in Simi Valley, alas. The drive down California Highway 1 (El Camino Real) is spectacular. (A close second is the koshu kaido in Japan for similar reasons). The wine produced in Edna Valley (also very scenic) is second to none, despite what the French or Napa Valley-ans say.
Yes, there is so much that is beautiful in California.
It is almost like God stayed a little longer there during Creation, just to make it so special.
By the way, it is unfortunate that you are getting grief about your views. It sounds like you have had some interesting experiences, and I hope you continue to share them.
Look, I'm sorry I insulted you as I did, but I've had it up to here with this 9/11 nonsense. The information that I gave you is right at your fingertips, all you have to do is have the desire to look, and that's what really irks me about all this. People don't take enough interest in their own country to inform themselves, and I think that's a G-d damm shame. You seem to be a conservative, and I don't like alienating other conservatives, but politics isn't for everyone, and many people don't know what the hell their talking about when they comment on it, especially matters relating to National Security. People are free to voice whatever opinion they want, but G-d almighty, please, do a little research, and think before you speak.
Again, I apologize for using such harsh language with you earlier...
