Abortion Plane and Trucks Will Show Gory Abortion Images to Graduates and Parents

Contact: Mark Harrington, Center for Bio Ethical Reform, 614-419-9000, cbrmidwest@cbrinfo.org

SOUTH BEND, Ind., May 16 /Christian Newswire/ -- Today the Center for Bio Ethical Reform (CBR) begins its 20th day of operations of the Obama Awareness Campaign in South Bend, IN. For three full weeks CBR has been forcing students, faculty, and trustees to see what America's abortion President means to unborn children. CBR's tow banner airplane and billboard trucks have educated students, faculty, and the community by forcing them to see abortion differently. Now, when abortion is mentioned in South Bend it is no longer an abstraction called "choice" but a dismembered baby killed by abortion.

Protest to Ruin the Commencement

On Sunday, CBR's abortion planes, billboard trucks, and handheld signs will be part of a massive protest along Angela Boulevard and near the main gate of the University of Notre Dame.

Who:
Center for Bio Ethical Reform

What:
Ruin Notre Dame's commencement speech using banner airplanes (weather permitting), billboard trucks, and handheld signs

Where:
The sky above Notre Dame, Angela Blvd. and Route 31 (also nearby main gate to Notre Dame)

When:
Saturday, May 16 from 10:00 am - 2PM.
Sunday, May 17, 10:00 am – 12 Noon (Temporary Flight Restriction from 12 - 5PM)

For more information or interviews contact Mark Harrington at CBR Midwest at 614-419-9000 or cbrmidwest@cbrinfo.org

CBR Statement:

People are aghast that we would "ruin" the Notre Dame commencement with our abortion pictures. The fact is, the commencement was ruined the moment Fr. Jenkins invited President Obama. Now, instead of a day of celebration it will be marred by the honoring a man who supports infanticide. Because of Obama and our presence graduates won't remember their achievements but abortion. No one in America deserves to celebrate as long as babies are dying. --Mark Harrington, Center for Bio-Ethical Reform

The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform is a non profit educational foundation based in Lake Forest, CA, and is dedicated to promoting justice and the right to life for the unborn, the disabled, the infirm, the aged, and all vulnerable people. Go to www.abortionNO.org to learn more.

Ain't gonna happen, at least close to the university. Secret Service will ban low flying aircraft near the university (I think that's common whenever a President speaks) and nearby streets will be blocked off.

My first thought exactly. No one is flying any type of private aircraft anywhaere near ND while 0babam is "in da house".

Exactly.

Smart way to put it.

Don't let the left control the language.

I think there is a VERY good argument that it would be immoral to attend a commencement at a Catholic university honoring Obama in that it forces graduates and participants to cooperate in grave evil. They are saying Obama is worthy of a doctorate from Notre Dame. This is false. Here's why: we had students expelled from the Catholic university I attended for possession of illegal drugs. Abortion is worse than recreational drug use. If Obama were a student at Notre Dame he would have to be expelled. So he doesn't deserve ANY degree.

As I’ve said before, there is plenty of room for all kinds of protestors at a scene like this one, including peaceful lawbreaking.

It is inconceivable that the authorities will allow a plane anywhere within sight of Notre Dame on commencement day. The excuse, of course, will be presidential security.

They will also, presumably, have massive traffic control in place tomorrow. So, whether demonstrators will be able to impede traffic or interfere with the commencement remains to be seen.

Certainly none of the demonstrations will be shown in the media celebrations of this event. At most they’ll have a brief look at “Right-Wing Extremists,” who are vastly outnumbered by the “decent Catholics” who adore Obama.

That will be their spin on the event. And Obama will revel in it.

Payback for Code Pink “ruining” for the last 8 years.

I say go for it.

However, when the families drive to the commencement site the planes and trucks WILL be visible. You are correct that airspace is ALWAYS restricted near the president.

Hmmm, I think inviting and honoring a vociferous advocate of infanticide is what's ruining the event.

To say that the group against the infanticide supporter is ruining the event is like saying the United States ruined World War II.

I’ve seen some of the video from ND, and I’m worried that some of this is too easily satired to be as effective as it needs to be. A grown man in a business suit, pushing a baby carriage with a Cabbage Patch doll in it, covered with fake blood? Alan Keyes’ heart is always in the right place, and I want to support him, but he’s drawn to wackiness like a moth to a flame.

The media imagery, the lasting impression upon the impressionable, is largely in the hands of hostile parties, who’d like nothing better than to paint us all as crazies, and some of this falls right into that trap. The testimonies of women who’ve experienced lifelong guilt and regret over their abortions, people who are certain that they would never have seen the light of day had abortion been legal at the time of their births, Catholic priests, Protestant clergy and Christian laymen of every stripe, singing and praying, that is effective and not easily lampooned.

I just hope all this doesn’t boomerang on us in a negative way, somehow. There are a lot of people with a lot of ink and paper, and broadcast media, who will be trying their level best to do so.

If these folks have never seen a presidential visit, they’re in for a big surprise. You can’t even sit on your fire escape watching his motorcade, if they tell you that you can’t. Streets will be blocked off, even to pedestrians. Forget flying.

Minor detail — how will a plane get airspace over ND when the POTUS is there? I seriously doubt that will be allowed. Otherwise, great plan.

Oh — never mind — temporary flight restriction from 12-5. Hope it gets some notice before then.

I believe the plane will be flying over the roads leading into Notre Dame. With security, the families will have to be onsite hours before Zero shows up, there is plenty of time for them to see it on the drive.
