They added their editorial comment that George Bush also spoke at a Notre Dame commencement and altho he was pro-life, as governor of Texas he sanctioned capital punishment which is against Church Law. The liberal media acts as if the Catholic Church equates the murdering of innocent unborn children with the execution of murderers. It does not when the catechism states that Capital Punishment can be used for self-defense purposes.
