Action Assignment: every Catholic diocese, almost every parish, and most churches of other denominations have websites, and on these websites are e-mail addresses --- usually a number of them --- which you can "harvest" to make yourself a Church Contact List.
Do it. Get the e-mail address of every official and the head of every department in your diocese, parish, church, fellowship, or ministry, and then send every one of them a link to this video.
Not only that, but --- this is not an entertainment, it is a participatory obligation --- please use every means you know of, to make this video go viral.
I watched the video in disbelief. Even more upsetting were the obnoxious comments left about it.
I also heard today that for the first time in 15 years of polling, a majority (51%) polled considered themselves pro-life.
The Chicago Fox affiliate news just reported on this. Yet they added their editorial comment to the report that despite the protests, the Pope has remained silent on this issue of Obama’s appearance. Is that true?
When a Catholic priest gets arrested on a Catholic University campus, for standing up for Catholic values (while presenting absolutely zero danger to himself or others around him).
Something is completely wrong...
The ABC Chicago news affiliate also reported on this tonight. They described demonstrators “scrambling” with police and showed a brief edit of this video as the priest was going down to the ground. They added their editorial comment that George Bush also spoke at a Notre Dame commencement and altho he was pro-life, as governor of Texas he sanctioned capital punishment which is against Church Law. I hope someone more knowledgable about this can contact the station and let them know the distinctions in Church Law on these issues. And also let them know its about the Honorary Degree, not the speaking.

Highlights: Received Communion from Father John Corapi at the Mass in the Grotto conducted by Father Frank Pavone.
Stood with Ted Kopple (don't know network affiliate anymore) and Grif Jenkens (Fox News) while at Mass. Has video of entire events from Saturday morning through Sunday evening.
Many interviews with those witnessing for Life (and a few clips of the Pro-Choice activists). Hopes to have them up on his blog with Craig Edwards at Committed to Romney.
Said all but four men were peaceful and respectful. Arrests were made only when Protesters trespassed on the Notre Dame campus to protest. Otherwise all were welcome and treated with kindness. Arrests were “scheduled” for every two to three hours. Only volunteers to be so were allowed (as it gets expensive at $250 a pop).
There is a movement (for which the arrests were allowed) to set the precedence to remove Fr. Jenkens via Canon Law. I hope he realizes what his efforts have cost him. Be of good cheer. Witnesses were there. Small single engine plane flying Pro-Life banner overhead entire two days. Trucks circling the campus. Campus looked lovely (as it always does in May). Students for life were about 125 out of class of 2200. 25 graduated at the Grotto with Fr. Pavone -- about 100 wore the cross and feet on the top of the mortars. Could have been more, but thankful for those who supported it.
