It's what they call a "say-so" charge. Policeman tells you that Notre Dame has barred you from their property, and you are to leave; you decline to leave (or to leave fast enough); then they arrest you on the "say-so" of Notre Dame.
It's not a felony. You don't lose your right to vote or your passport, or get sent to the State Pen or anything like that! :o/
I’m not a Catholic, so I try to keep the negativism to a minimum, but I know what you mean. Even as non-Catholic, it was sad to watch the things play out that I believe you are hinting at.

One time in Houston, John Broderick, our attorney, came up and asked the guards if he could speak to me and the guards said no.
There were three big huskies there and then John came up with his hand as a greeting and I came up with a five hand and I felt the Eucharist -- he was a Eucharistic Minister. So I quickly took the Eucharist and I put it in my mouth and the guard saw me and said "get him", so they jumped me and broke my glasses and put me to the floor and handcuffed me behind my back and started ripping my lips apart trying to get the Eucharist out of my mouth.
But you know once you close your mouth it is almost impossible to open your mouth so they weren't able to do that. So they stripped me naked and threw me out into the main corridor as an example to show the people what they do to priests.
I agree. This is really frightening and portends of more evil yet to come.
Now remember this folks, what happens when those same police officers begin arresting people for “offending others” or for other “non-offenses” that are becoming “normal”? Is this the start of the “Civilian Defense Force” and one more step towards totalitarianism?
Prepare now folks. North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam. Totalitarianism has happened in other parts of the world. It can happen here.

Through the generosity of a fine pro-life gentleman in South Bend (one who has been so outraged by what is going on he went in and got arrested with Fr. Norm and Alan and the others yesterday), we have full use of the old State Theater for nightly gatherings.
It’s downtown near the intersection of Michigan and Jefferson. Last night, Norma McCorvey, the “Roe” in Roe vs. Wade, was one of our guests there. She has come to walk onto the campus today and be arrested if that’s what “Fr.” Jenkins’ minions want.
She has never been arrested in a pro-life protest before, so as you can imagine, this is a major step for her personally. God bless her.

Our AIP leaders have been very active as well. I was there this week for two days helping get things set up. Our Michigan Chairman, Patrick Flynn, in addition to getting arrested last Friday as a Catholic witness against this incredible scandal, has done most of the hard work of making the Theater, which has been closed for some time, usable. Many of our other people, including many of our state leaders from all over the place, are either now in South Bend or will be there shortly.
