Senator Roland Burris Public hearing Saturday May 16 2009

I was just notified by a Law Enforcement Officer that Democratic Senator Roland Burris and his office has set up a Public Meeting. Unfortuneatly nobody except Pro-Open Borders and Pro-Amnesty and Pro-illegal alien groups were notifed of this meeting. I called Senator Roland Burris office and I asked for the detatils of the meeting. I asked WHO sponored the meeting.

I was told that the Burris office set up the meeting and along with Familia Latina Unidas who was taking part.

I asked why it was not on the website and I asked if a Press Release for the meeting had gone out. The answer was NO.

The Public Hearing is taking place to discuss the 287G program. Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran did a Study and then applied for 287G training for His Lake County Illinois Sheriff's Department.

Senator Burris from the looks of it has set up a Public Meeting without notifying people on both sides of the issue.

Now after my conversation with his office at around 4 PM Chicago time, they are changing the whole story saying they had nothing to do with setting up the meeting.

Burris is scheduled to appear at the meeting between 1pm and 2 Pm his office staff informed me.

I guess this is the new PUBLIC HEARING format agenda...Don't tell the Public about the Public Meeting.

Nobody but the Open Borders group.

Please call the Offices of Democratic Senator Roland Burris and tell him to meet with Citizens in Illinois who want 287G training brought to Lake County and the rest of the State of Illinois!!
