Police violate rights of peaceful praying people, refuse to allow Dr. Keyes and others to bond out of jail.
Norma McCorvey, AKA "Jane Roe" of Roe vs. Wade, to pray and risk arrest with others at Notre Dame at Saturday, May 16, at 12 noon.
SOUTH BEND, Ind., May 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following is a statement by Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue:
"Is there one - just one - Catholic Bishop in all of America who will walk on campus and pray with us?
"St. John Fisher - the only Catholic Bishop who stood against Henry III, stands in stark contrast with the Bishops of his day. We are praying for one Bishop with the fiber of St. John Fisher to join us at the epicenter of this 'clash' between the culture of life and the culture of death. Such a witness would resound throughout the earth.
"Would Notre Dame really arrest an American Bishop who walked quietly on campus, praying, and holding an image of Mary? We need to find out.
"We are pleading with Bishop D'Arcy to use his authority to grant emergency relief from the deeds of Notre Dame's administration."
Also Breaking News: Police are refusing to set bail for Dr. Keyes and others who have been arrested for a second time. More details to follow.

since when to does the police set bail? I thought a judge does that.
refusing to set bail? me thinks maybe that is not a good idea
Where’s the NAACP?
Nahhh, ya wouldn’t want no Priests pushing Catholic doctrine at Notre Dame now would ya?
Obamma lamma ding dong is a proponent of partial birth abortion. He wants to use your hard earned money to pay for abortion on demand.
“Please Don’t Ruin My Graduation”. What a callous human being.
Indeed. He even looks like mindless, vacuous, self-absorbed pond scum.
I could be wrong, but I believe the shirt means graduation is ruined by inviting nObama.
The young man should march into President Jenkins’ office wearing that shirt.
Thinking of the jugglers at the Hospice where Terri Schiavo lay dying...
that is a GREAT QUESTION!
There is a Q&A session afterward. I am half tempted to asked the good Father if he is going to stop off at South Bend. There is a need for one after Obama speaks.
Call Bishop Finn out of Kansas he would go I betcha.
I, for one, hope you’re right about that. That would be a very, very good thing!
A group of Notre Dame students stood by wearing tee shirts that implored the protestors to stop ruining what they say should be one of the best days of their lives. The shirts featured the message, "Please don't ruin my graduation."
"This shirt speaks for itself," said one senior. "Our graduation really shouldn't be a spectacle. It should be something that honors the hard work all the students and faculty have put in for the last four or five years."

Its truly a shame, though: this weekend is not about being pro-life or pro-choice. This weekend should not be a soapbox upon which groups argue over issues secondary to our graduation, regardless of their level of importance. Rather it should be a time to honor our accomplishments and the efforts devoted to our university for the past four years. For these groups to come and manipulate our graduation for their personal and political agendas is simply shameful. Yesterday as I was walking onto our campus and a protester holding a sign with a graphic photo of an aborted fetus asked me if I was upset that Obama was coming. I answered him with a respectful No. Over the next few minutes he tried to claim that having President Obama as my class commencement speaker was what would really ruin my graduation. Its sad he didnt realize it was the unnecessary press that he and his partners were generating which is ultimately threatening my graduation.
As a senior about to leave college life and enter into the real world, I cannot think of a better person to lead the way than President Obama.

Ah, well that disappoints me.
Me too.
