Apparently a lot of other people, including FReepers, are having problems with the Drudge website, from the comments here...
It’s getting so that ‘code’ introduced as ‘advertisement content’ is out-of-control. It can hog 50 to 100 megabytes of memory and who knows what can be going on invisibly with the user’s consent.
Java-script and Java itself is getting all powerful and resource hogs.
There has to be software coming out that can throttle down this crud.
