Newt understands that doing things like that Global Warming ad buys him credibility with moderates and people who don’t already agree with him.
It lends his voice more power when he comes out and says something like this.

I do not think much of Mr. Gingrich morals. He is the Republican analogue to Pelosi. To put it another way the pot is calling the kettle black.
