I’m simply curious, who takes these photos? Is it just the guys there, taking them for themselves, or are they official? Having said that, with photoshop and similar programs, it’s hard to know which shots are even true these days.
One of the men in the Abu Ghraib photos attempted to blackmail the government in exchange for a plea bargain. He didn’t get his lighter sentence so he was the 2004 source of the most famous leaked photos.
Have to wonder if any of those in the photos were “fragging” the troops with this as a form of entrapment. No one should do these deeds. But perhaps there was a bigger goal in mind and thus a reason to take pictures and document the abuse.
