A little bit on Frieden:

After a string of victories over smoking, trans fats and calories, Dr. Frieden is waging a new campaign: to lower the amount of sodium America eats. His targets are packaged foods and mass-produced restaurant meals, which contribute 80 percent of the sodium in the average American diet. Dr. Frieden has already approached the executives of the food industry. And if the industry follows the city's wishes, the health department's Web site announces, "that action will lower health care costs and prevent 150,000 premature deaths every year."

I just watched a video of the guy justifying controls on society where he talked about ‘changing’ our world...blahblahblah. He is definately a marxist ideologue.

I wake up every morning wondering where my country went. In less than 4 months, we are on the brink of communism with a fascist authoritarian executive branch running the country instead of our elected representatives. Very scary times.

I just can't understand the double messages sent by the leftist. We are overpopulated so they love abortion, but we must keep alive everyone currently living.

Of course their reason is to lower health care cost, just like with the cigarette campaign. The unintended consequences are that people are living longer and the end of life health care cost are greater. Probably even affects the amount of Social Security paid out.

I am all in favor of living healthy, but it should still be a free country. If I occasionally want butter and salt on my popcorn, then GET OFF MY BACK.
