King Abdullah of Jordan is heading up a group of regional leaders to "restart Arab-Israel peace efforts". He and President Obama are in agreement that Israel must create a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, first and foremost before any discussion of dealing with Iran is tabled. Also, the 23 Arab League members would offer Israel relations in exchange for Israel's withdrawal from 1967 War land won in the conflict. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is standing firm on his commitment to Israel's soveriegnty and statehood and refuses to even remotely discuss Palestinian statehood, withdrawal from 1967 land or dismantling checkpoints. He is working to expand Jewish settlements in East Jerusalem as well. Recently, even the Pope chimed in during a visit to Israel in which he asked the Prime Minister to immediately make plans to establish a Palestinian state. The pressure from the Muslim world, President Obama and the Vatican is building to a fever pitch--either commit to a two-state solution, or....? I know Mr. Netanyahu won't budge--God bless him for that!-- so just what will the Obama administration, the Muslim nations and the Pope threaten to do about it? Cut off relations? Or is this a prelude to war?

The king would do better trying to get a promise out of the
palestinians, something we haven’t seen in fifty years.
At least one that they kept.

How about if Jordan volunteers to give up a good percent of her land for this “Palestinian State”?

Israel already accepts a palestinian state on its eastern border. It’s called Jordan.

Jordan's King To Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: Immediate Commitment To Two-State Solution That's great, a Two-State Solution, Israel and Jordan.
Most of the "Palestinians" are Jordanians anyway. Welcome home terrorists.

King Abdullah forgets his history, or chooses to ignore it. There once was a two-state solution that gave a homeland to the Palestinians. It arose with the partition of Trans-Jordan when Israel became independent. The Palestinian homeland was Jordan. Abdullah’s great-grandfather, was first Emir of Trans-Jordan, and later Abdullah I of Jordan.

Why? Why doesn’t the Palestinians just go back to Jordan? That’s their homeland, not Israel.

He and President Obama are in agreement that Israel must create a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital Both products of Muslims + silly western women who were divorced by their muslim husbands. Why force on a national (international) scale what couldn't work under one roof? Must be the same dynamic as the crazy people who seek work at the mental wards in order to work out their own mental problems.

The Arabs are behaving no differently than they did in 1948.
They have just changed their tactics: it is still encirclement, but this time with propaganda and diplomatic pressure.
Israel MUST resist this, just as they resisted armed Arabs in 1948.
The Arabs still want the same results: the destruction of the State of Israel and driving the Jews into the sea.
Ask youself this: what State-making or self governing skills have the Palestinians demonstrated in Gaza, where they have sovereignty?
