it did its job, it allowed Napolitano to intimidate people who attended or wanted to attend the tea parties.
ONE MILLION attendees trumped the intimidation.
ONE MILLION attendees trumps any useful idiot fake representatives Obama may photo op meet.

That Napolitano broad is a dope.
She must be trying to make nice before her nomination to the US Supreme Court.
To: conservativegramma
Withdraws it from where? From Who? You can bet it has not been withdrawn from anywhere except public view. Police depts across the country, and DHS employees will still have it, and haven't, undoubtedly, been told to disregard it.

I thought originally Napoliatano had defended the report, now shes blaming it on improper vetting????? These people are disgusting, lying POS!
It is way past the time for polite discourse and time to call them the communist bastards they are and make it stick.

"The wheels came off the wagon because the vetting process was not followed," Ms. Napolitano told the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday.No.
The wheels came off the wagon because they did what you told them to do.
Telegraphing your's and your boss's, i.e., the Administration's, deep-seated communist totalitarian hatred of all dissent...and those pesky defenders of their constitutional rights to freedom ...and a small republican form of government.
Next we will see Ayers's style hit squads after all of us. They will make it look like an "accident" I'm sure.

"The wheels came off the wagon because the vetting process was not followed," Ms. Napolitano told the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday. The wheels came off the wagon because they simply didn't expect the backlash they got..once pandora's box was opened, they had to do something..blaming the vetting process is it..

This is an old liberal tactic. Tell the lie then retract it when the truth comes out. That was almost always their approach with the Bush administration.
Meanwhile the lie has taken root and is flourishing while the retraction is on page 16 of the NYT.

"The report is no longer out there," she said. "An employee I sent it out without authorization." CYAF mode on.

“...or be removed from her position. It happened on her watch”
Obama was here in Phoenix Az last night talking to a crowd of graduates at ASU. He mentioned Napolitano, saying how we lost a great Governor but now she was doing great work for him in Washington as the head of Homeland Security.
Doesn’t look to me as if he’ll be calling for her position.

angering Republican lawmakers and military veterans who said it unfairly stereotyped veterans. It also unfairly stereotyped (1) Pro-life groups, (2) Pro-2nd Amendment groups, (3) Groups that advocate limited government within Constitutional constraints, (4) groups that attend Tea-Party tax protests.

An employee sent it out without authorization. Not my fault.!
Look for a back page WaPo story in the next few days about some intern/clerk/window washer who is let go for releasing executive level guidance without authorization.
