GOP Senators Back Move to Center with Crist

Senate Republicans, from the rank and file to the leadership, are supporting the inevitable move to the center that comes with backing Florida Gov. Charlie Crist for the state’s open Senate seat.

GOP senators accept that Tuesday's endorsements of Crist by Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) and National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman John Cornyn (Texas) is more about pragmatism than principle.

The popular centrist governor faces a GOP primary from former state House Speaker Marco Rubio of West Miami, a protégé of former Gov. Jeb Bush and a more conservative candidate.

Are you talking about the election or demographics. That date is important because several states may flip with old whites dying and new immigrants voting. AZ, NM, NV, and perhaps even FL may be be permanently screwed. Like social security and medicare, it is happening more quickly than people realize.

Does anyone still think we can still vote our way out of this deepening tyranny?

Fat chance == No chance!

Oh yes, move to the center and when the LIBs become more left wing, the GOP can move to the new center. The LIBs will move further left and the GOP can move again to the next new center. And on and on, until they are both LIBs.

It’s a shame Marco opted out of military service. I can’t imagine looking myself in the mirror while men my age were going off to war. Same score as Crist in that account.
____________
So did our poser in chief sitting in the WH. So it’s either a real Republican or RINO Crist.

Probably not. BUT there is only one other option and until we have exhausted all others, that option will never have legitimacy. I do think red states can come together and make differences in the elections. We desperately need to gain some seats. If we can, we can stop everything he tries to do. It’s our only hope and the time to get busy is now.

I emailed Cornyn several times ..never got an answer. I thought he was a true conservative but I’m changing my mind.

It’s important to defeat Crist in the Florida primary and John McCain in the Arizona primary.

To quote that guy from "The Day After Tomorrow"

I'm afraid that time has come and gone.

They’re SALIVATING over the prospect.
:::::::
Some probably are, but many are not. The facade is part of the Washington Hill game. I still have enough hope that America, even the dolts, will wake up to a majority degree and put Obama out of office when they get a REAL taste of his Marxism.

Remember some American history. Only one third of the American people fought the Revolution. The others either did not care, or were British sympathizers. That says something about patriots and freedom-driven people.

Putting “Center” and “Crist” in the same sentence makes me speak of philosophy, as in liberalizing the Republican Party. You are correct. Red is giving way to blue, in the Southwest, Florida and even the South, but the way to change the trend is not by offering Americans Democrat-lite. 2010 and 2012 ,might be the last chances we have restore a semblance of constitutional government, liberty and conservative principles of freedom.

This is what I sent to Cornyn and I got a very nasty note
saying in effect “The UN is the best thing for humanity”.

****

Does anybody else wonder why we still support the UN?

It tries to undermine the Constitution of the USA and
would love to cripple our Constitutional Republic.

In over 60 years the only politicians who tried to get
the USA out of the UN were Goldwater and President
Ronald Reagan who did kick UNESCO out.

16 out of 17 of the AMERICANS that were involved
in creating the UN were later identified, in sworn
testimony, as secret communist agents.

The first Secretary General was the AMERICAN Alger Hiss.
Alger Hiss served time in prison pursuant to his
involvement in a Communist spy ring.

Many of the other AMERICANS that were involved in
creating the UN fled the country, to avoid prosecution.

The ONE AMERICAN, that was involved in creating the UN;
and was NOT later identified, in sworn testimony, as a
secret communist agent, was Dean Acheson.
Dean Acheson’s law firm was the legal representative of
the Soviet Union, in US courts.

If the AMERICANS that were involved in creating the UN
were Communists, what do you think we got from the rest
of the world?

In order to beat Crist you have to have a VIABLE conservative NAME candidate.

So far all Crist’s challengers are second stringers. The race is Crist’s to lose.

If anything it would have to be a two man primary with a serious slug fest for force crist to the right.

Once again all the RINOs line up to kill the conservative. The GOP is a bigger enemy of conservatism than the Democrats. This is why the GOP must be done away with once and for all, to clear the way for a conservative party. Stop voting for the lesser of two evils. Stop voting GOP. Stop giving money to the GOP. The GOP is nothing but a foil and an enabler of liberal fascism. Crist supported McCain and killed off Giuliani and Romney, both of whom are demonstrably less RINO , if not conservative.
