White House press spokesman Robert Gibbs on Tuesday dismissed Cheney's argument about Guantanamo, saying the prison had not made America safer, referring to the damage it had wrought on the US image abroad.

Image abroad is more important than public safety. Elections have consequences.

Dick Cheney stepped up his assault on President Barack Obama

When was the word assault ever used to describe what Carter, Clinton and Gore had to say about GWB?

This is how the left operates. For those reading FR and not yet fully equipped to take on the enemy, these are the perfect examples of liberal bias. Next time you are told 'the media just reports the news, they don't make it'...bunk. It's what they choose to report and choose not to report...how they choose to report something (i.e Cheney assaults, Gore criticizes).

On related note; does anyone remember those lefty bumper stickers that became popular in 2004-2006 timeframe..."Dissent Is Patriotic". Anyone else notice they are all scraped off now? Lefties used to say that publicly as well...don't hear that anymore either.

BOTH Bushes were pushing the Bravo Sierra or the NEW WORLD ORDER so it was inevitable that the job would fall to Dick Cheney, who was the conservative brain in the Bush White House. It wasn’t Karl Rove.

I always find it telling that the MSM calls it an assault when conservatives tell the truth about liberals but it is always truth and lite when the liberals lie their tails off about conservatives.

It is evident they do not like what Cheney is saying as it will eventually be evident that Cheney wasn’t as much a demon as the presstitutes and Demonrats had people believe and it will sink in with what he was saying being right and they will have to answer for the myth they have sold all along. You can’t help but notice the power of what Cheney says and how he is going to be right. The myth can only last for so long until the reality sets in.

Cheney hasn’t been out of power very long, and his knowledge of the functions of Government agencies is extensive. I think his public statements are aimed as much at the Senate and the House to alert them that the changes by the Obama Administration are putting us in deadly peril.

Elections have consequences.

...and we surely are paying the price for this one as we speak....

If we cannot find a way to keep the welfare class from voting themselves largess from the public treasury soon...the consequences of our election process will eventually end up with Zimbabwe-en results.

Mugabe and Zero think alike...not much different from just about other African dictator, I fear....

One difference is, however, that at least Zero hasn't yet eaten any of his political rivals...

...(that we know of)...
