“Graduates need to get over themselves.”
Fair statement...for me personally I achieved a goal that I worked my ass off for so as I said there`s no way I would have missed my commencement. If I would have missed it say over a 60`s radical boycott or something similar I believe I would have regretted it to this day.

....as Hussein approaches the podium people stand up and turn their backs...in complete silence
Or (I keep thinking of the black power salute at the '68 olympics) ... perhaps kneel, bow head, and pray for his soul and the country during his entire speech ...or the rosary for his sins ...?

...or the rosary for his sins ... Good idea.Hundreds...or even thousands...of attendees standing and praying the rosary out loud.....in unison...
Outstanding!

The worst part is that people are calling the students racists because they don’t want Obama there. They completely ignore his support of killing babies.
Stupidity knows no bounds.

And did you graduate from a Catholic university?
Case you forgot, that’s the point.

There is no way that I would miss my college graduation because I disagreed with the choice of speaker. Those of you who have graduated university should be able to attest to that once in a lifetime feeling of accomplishment that you feel at the ceremony surrounded by fellow grads and family. Sorry ... I disagree with you. I have "graduated university" twice, and knew ahead of time who the commencement speaker would be. First time, speaker was an inoffensive nonentity. Second time, speaker was moderately famous (for honourable reasons) and I very much looked forward to meeting him. Had the speaker in either instance been a slug like Zero, I would not have attended.

Mother Angelica said a long time ago that liberalism was taking over some of the Catholic colleges. Very sad.
