There is something very strange going on in the US right now. I have never seen anything like this, and I lived through the 60's.

1. Obama has created a cult of personality evocative of those surrounding dictators like Peron, Hitler, Stalin, and Il Duce.

2. There is, seemingly, no firearms ammunition to be found.

3. Down is up and up is down in foreign affairs. Obama is literally p*ssing on America's natural allies. To wit, the other English speaking democracies, the UK, Canada, and Australia.

4. Another long term strategic ally, and the only democracy in the mid-east is literally being abandoned while Obama tries to get friendly with the zealots who run Iran. To what purpose?

5. The markets and the economy have not been in this much turmoil since the 1930's. Obama's policies are setting up a massive inflation or the possible bankruptcy of the USA.

6. All the wrong moves are being made vis a vis foreign hotspots: Iran, Iraq, North Korea, pirates in Somolia.

None of this is good.
