Those are very conservative estimates about doctor salary decline under socialist medicine. In Canada, Britain, France and other industrialized nations where they have socialist medicine doctors salaries are one half and in many cases one third of doctors salaries in the US for the same specialty. There is a reason why doctors from these countries will do everything to come an practice in the US, they make much more money here than in their countries.

Any doctor in the US who wants socialist medicine is a fool.

Splendid!

All around this town I see signs in doctors offices:

“WE DO NOT ACCEPT MEDICARE PATIENTS”

You haven’t seen them yet? You will.

In France where there is a national “free” Health-care physicians number is quickly decreasing because they have to work a lot for a mediocre income...
And the cost of “free” public Health-care is very high and paid by high taxes...

I can't get my doctor to FAX my prescripts cause he say’s the insurance company never responds and “pushes” generics while he INSIST on particular meds. So I wind up arguing over the phone about my meds.
You can see where government run medical issues are going to go.

Perhaps these doctors will be willing to listen to the cries of the conservative masses in that we, as patients, don’t want this kind of healthcare that puts us at risk of lesser quality treatments.

Maybe we can get the doctors against it, seeing as how these ridiculous pay cuts will make it harder to pay off all of their medical then surgical school loans. I mean, out of all fairness to the doctors, they did not sign on for this when they went through med school and then furthered with a surgical specialty.

What if we can get them to rally with us?

Obama’s Healthcare Numbers Don’t Add Up
Monday, May 11, 2009 6:51 PM

WASHINGTON – The White House trumpeted the news: health care providers taking a $2 trillion scalpel to their costs and pushing the U.S. toward Barack Obama’s vision of health coverage for all. But don’t line up yet for those insurance cards.

First, a reality check for the nation’s 50 million uninsured.

Is there any good reason noone is discussing the impact of Tort Law on medical costs?

Ambulance chasing lawyers drive up the cost of healthcare and it is a simple matter to restrict the amount of malpractice awards to minimize this impact.

...Mr. Obama's plan for a centrally managed government...

Yeah, all that "centrally managed" stuff worked so well for the former communist states... Why the {expletive} would a western leader try to emulate it? He's either stupid or a socialist/fascist.

The 10 to 20% decline number is low compared to the number I heard from a health care professional.

The Obamaton's want to pay a flat fee of $60/hr. when a highly trained doctor like neo-natal care specialist which do not grow on trees are around $180/hr, or so I am told.

The young ones that voted for the Bamster are already asking, how do I pay my student loans...

Med schools will wither do to lack of funding, again from my medical professional.

What a merde sandwich..

My liberal friends don’t like when I point out that big businesses are the biggest winners in a single payer health program.

In short - the future is a bunch of pissed off patients waiting forever to see an ever diminishing pool of pissed of doctors.

How ObamaCare Will Affect Your Doctor

Most likely, your doctor will start looking for another career.

Fully two-thirds of the privately insured will move out of or lose coverage. As patients shift to a lower-paying government plan, doctors' incomes will decline by as much as 15% to 20% depending on their specialty.

Doctors will lose 15 to 20% but Democrats will still make sure patients can SUE them. All those trial attorney's supporting dems are going to win the doctor lotto!

What we should fear most about Obamacare is these outcome based decision making on health care treatment. Using Daschle’s book as a blueprint, government bureaucrats will develop clinical “guidelines” that may deny large numbers of patients treatments. For example an 80 year old woman currently living independently, but with diabetes and a history of breast cancer could easily be denied further cancer treatment because the guidelines say statistically she has no chance of surviving but a few more years. The nation’s elderly will get reduced treatments and fill nursing homes and even us baby boomers with the typical ailments of people our age may be denied life saving treatments like cardiac bypass surgery.

not this physician. I will retire first (and I’m about 12-13 years away from planned retirement) I make a nice living, but not as much as your plumber, handyman, etc. For this I get to work nights, holidays, weekends, kids soccer games and dance recitals, etc. Oh, and by the way, I did not start earning until my early 30’s due to school, residency, etc, all of which generated student loans to pay back.

It’s not just the money issue, however. The government already tells me far too much how I have to practice medicine. This would only become worse under the current plan. I will not be a low paid government employee who is not free to practice in the way I think and know to be best. But that’s OK, I have wanted to open a quilt shop for a while. Much less income, but much less hassle to go along with it.

We may get Obamacare pushed down our throats, but good luck finding an American trained physician to provide it.

The General Electric, GE, president and board have been in bed with the rats and 0b0z0 health care bed for a long time.

Thursday, GE will announce its 6 billion program which will push 0b0z0’s health care plan.

Of course, NBC, CNBC and MSNBC will provide “free advertising as they will push 0b0z0 care 24/7.

The link below sheds a little light on GE and 0b0z0 care.

GE may be the only good investment in the DOW.

One can only imagine the mediot uproar if Haliburton had planned something like this during GW’s presidency.
