Seniors with little muscle mass often progress to pneumonia when a broken bone makes demands on the amino acid supplies. The immune system is left with insufficient resources. Maintaining muscle mass is important to long term health.
It was entirely too convenient for Obama's grandmother to pass on when she did. I'm inclined to believe her demise was "helped" along.
A pillow was probably the last thing she saw..
One thing about her death has always bother me, As the wife of a Veteran who is interred in the Punch Bowl, a military cemetery equal in stature to Arlington she was entitled to have her remains buried along with her husband.
Instead Obama had her cremated and dumped her ashes in the ocean, now I ask you, given that she did the necessary paperwork to insure her husband was buried in the Punch Bowl, undoubtedly she knew that she could be buried there with him as well.
Obama choose to have her cremated and disposed of the ashes.
Actually that used to be so common, that a broken hip was quietly regarded as a likely death sentence.
It was the way the story shifted to "cancer" within a week that got me.
Rather than dash off to visit his dying grandmother, the one who raised him (according to fable), he continued campaigning until someone (Berg, iirc) showed up in Hawaii looking for his long form birth certificate. Then Duh 1 went to visit her on her deathbed. Too many convenient conicidences to not have some element of orchestration, and you never know what someone with a fever might ramble on about...
The cat stayed in the bag. There will be no autopsy, no chance for one, not even a chemical analysis of the ashes for unusual salts. How tidy. The BC records were sealed.
